Our pals at Nintendo Power recently immersed themselves in the hugely anticipated videogame tie in to The Matrix Reloaded.While far from finished,suffice to say Enter The Martix promises to be as ambitious as Neo's drive to save humanity.
In what must be a Hollywood first,movie writers/directions Andy and Larry Wachowski have taken a huge role in developing the game.The brothers have produced the game,penned the script,overseen the development of additional interactives that fill in The Matrix Reloaded story,and specific camera angles to be used in the game.While on the set of The Matrix Reloaded and sister sequel The Matrix Revolutions.

Namco has revealed that it now has a cross license agreement with Todd Mc Farlane production to use each other's characters an agreement that was hinted at in an interview with Mc Farlane a few weeks ago.With the license,Namco will be releasing Spawn for ps2,xbox,and gamecube,which is currently under development by Namco's American subsidiary,Namco Hometech.The game is schelduled for a release with in the year and will be displayed at E3. |

Anyone will tell you that Doom III is the most beutiful game at E3,a game that showed that id Software is master of 3D engines.The ten plus minutes of gameplay footage shown at E3 easily rivaled the best looking CGI cut screens of the Resident Evil series,with the notable difference that there was actual gameplay instead of just canned cut scenes.The demo was run on a 2.4GHz P4 with a next generation ATI card,and it was hard. |
Star Wars:Knights Of The Old Republic (For pc and xbox)
BioWars has announced that it is working on to new role playing games one for xbox and for the pc that are set in original worlds.The studio has sighned a first party publishing agreement with Microsoft to publish the Xbox game,and the pc hasn't yet been presented to any publisher.These will be BioWare's first games based on original properties.The studio,based in Edmonton,Canada,built its reputation on games based on the Dungeons & Dragons license and is also finishing up Knights Of The Republic,a Star Wars role playing game that LucasArts is set to publish for the PC and Xbox
